I have received several calls from this number on Caller ID. One time I answered, Newspaper Subscription Offer, Times Herald Record. I politely asked.. Stop calling me ! Several days later, caller id, they called again. I called them back and told them stop calling me. January 2016. One week later, so far no more calls.. but if they call again, I will have to file a complaint.
Keep calling at different times. Only hear a hangup when answering call. Now I let the machine answer when I see "The Tribune",,, not that they leave a message.
They call at various times during the day and evening and various days of the week. I do not answer the calls when my caller id identifies the number. IT IS VERY ANNOYING. Today I called them back and a man with a southern accent said that they were calling for the Middletown Times Herald Record in Middletown, NY and they want to offer me a free 2 week subscription if I take their easy pay plan. I said that I don't want it and asked why they are calling from California. The man became a little flustered and then said that it is the phone system they use. I told them to take me off their list, I do not want to hear from them again. Tomorrow I will report them to the newspaper.
