I answered and someone said they were a legal company trying to get legal documents to me. I have no idea who they are but I hung up. This is why I don't answer unknown #s. Dang! I'm guessing debt collector or scam.
Recording stating the call was being logged as an official attempt to contact me regarding file # *&^%$#@!. Must contact them within 24 hours. Has to be a new scam as not many inquiries or complaints have been filed against this number
eceived an "urgent message" from 741-591-8128 from a woman identified as Nicole Adams. She said I needed to call 844-477-2610 in the next 24 hours about a 6 digit reference number and disclaimed this was documented as an attempt to contact prior to making their recommendation. I called the 844 number and an answering service picked up stating I had reached "The corporate office" and to leave a message. Both the voicemail and answering service were very vague which leads me to believe it's complete nonsense.

Stated he was from Mc Arthur Acquisition Services - Gave a reference number - did not want to give any information to me. Also used 1-714-591-8126 number - When looked up cannot find said company
Trying to collect on a 13 year old debt. Threatened to take me to court.Emailed a document with a payoff quote requesting my credit card information. I didn't respond . Mr. Bob Wells calls me back the next day and started yelling at me and threatening to take me to court again.
