I just rec'd a call from these scammers. Many times, the caller ID # is the same area code and first 3 digits as my #. Today, it was 714--and the next 3 digits are the same as my #. As soon as she started speaking, I told her: fuc off, bit-h.
Called this morning offering an allegedly lower mortgage rate than what I currently have (it wasn't). The call came unusually early in the morning and although I had already been up for several hours, told the lady on the line that she had woken me up. The sunny demeanor she had while going through her rehearsed spiel dropped immediately and she said "That's nice, [***] you." and hung up. I tried to call the number back and got the three-toned THIS NUMBER IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE message. Scam.
