Number is spoofed--says local on CID--I'm in OH 714 is not local--called left no mesg, as usual, if it's senior stuff, this is the 10th number they've called me from.
I get these Medical alerts calls every so often. Sept 20th has been the last one. From area code 714-607-6440. I just hang up when they start their recorded message. They say don't hang up blah blah AARP etc.

Identified only as "local" on caller ID. Called at 9AM on a Saturday, which means it was 6AM their time! Southern California area code is not "local" for me, as I live in Kentucky. Did not leave a message.
The name on caller ID said LOCAL, it immediately was cut off after one ring since I have purchased a call Blocker device and installed it on my landline . this is the first time this number has called but since I have blocked the entire 714 area code since I know no one in that area code doesn't matter , I just laugh now one ring and they're gone, if you attempt to call it back you have to press one to "be removed from future special promotions" which is clearly a scam since they are violating the basis of do not call. I also filed a complaint with do not call to let them know that these people are violating and attempting to sell things to people, as in telemarketing, what I would also suggest is that people print up the complaints such as on this board and mail them to the appropriate state attorney general office, if they are being swamped with letters they can do something.
