We are a DNC registered number. Caller ID came in the same as the originating number. There was an obvious pause after I answered, indicative of a robocall. Caller asked for me personally; introduced himself as Jack Thompson from "Huntington Beach Home Emporium". I asked him where his business was located, and he gave a legitimate intersection, however a later Google search showed no such business. My "buddy", Jack, asked about what our next home project was going to be. He was told, as has everyone else who's tried this BS scam that our son-in-law is a general contractor. We'd be wealthy if we got $1 for everyone of these BS calls, trying the same "I'm your buddy" scams.
