Calls my parents and my sister looking for me all day long its a male threatening to garnish wages and have me arrested, but never says where he is from. I called the number back and he is rude but cannot answer specific questions and when I asked for proof in writing he hung up.
Caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME". Caller said his name was "Chris Starr" from some police organization blah blah. Judging from other comments here I think that Bass Turds like these just call up people, make up whatever name and say whatever they think will get you to give them your money. People who give money to these jerks are not helping anybody but are aiding and abetting criminals that divert money from real legitimate charities.
Received a call from 714-687-8334, CallerID showing no recognizable name (letters & numbers). Blocked automatically by call blocker device since area code '714' is already on the device BLOCK list.
A call from this Anaheim VOIP number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This is a favorite tactic of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who use automated dialers to troll the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to rip off.
Several posters have unmasked the caller as a scam police charity. Many fake charities are dialing for dollars. Don't become a victim. Do not answers calls from crooks with unfamiliar numbers. Let your answering machine take their pathetic calls.
