dish net satellite was the ID... rang and hung up as soon as it went to answering machine. spoofed # since has a different Co. name then everyone else. Like I would ever buy something over the phone or from a door to door salesperson.
Another VOIP call, have been getting several from 714 area code claiming to be either a contractor or a police fundraising scam. Please sign Consumers Reports' petition to make the phone companies block all these calls! Go to EndRobocalls.org
Picked up, rang, went to voice mail greeting. Stated hours Monday-Sat, 9-21 Sunday 1100-1900. Stated they put you on their DNCL if you left your Full name and number. Like that will ever happen. Voice mail was full. At no time was the company name stated.
Same as above. Has called a few times over the last couple of weeks but never leaves a message. Most recent call was at 4:07 this afternoon. We never answer phone calls from numbers we don't recognize. We are also on the Do Not Call List but it doesn't seem to help much since we get phone calls from the same numbers over and over. I think they're just offshore robocalls spoofing local phone numbers. BTW, thanks to the folks who started and maintain 800notes. Bravo Zulu!
