Same as Tcked, only called back because I thought it might have been friends I know that live in southern california.

These sort of calls and usually used for phishing. The reason there is no answer is becuase it's most likely connected to a computer, not a person, that uses sounds coming from your end to determine if it was picked up by a human or not, then they put it in a database for scammers to call.

answered phone, but nobody said anything. Then after they realized I had picked up, they started saying 'hello hello, anybody there' so I knew it was telemarketing and hung up
