Constant daily calls from 714-776-8646. Of the dozens of calls I have recieved, a lady cheerfully and sarcastically said "good morning" and then hung up.
Don't bother asking your phone company for help, they likely will not. In face, do some checking and you may find out that it was your own phone company that sold your data to telemarketers. Often the telemarketers are also customers of the same phone company and they pay much more money than some residential customer. If you call your phone company to complain, likely they already know the telemarketer that is harrassing you.
Learn about what AIN is (Automatic Number Identification). This is the real caller ID information that the phone company will not tell you.
They have really turned our laws into a joke. Sad.
8/30 14:39 PDT Another in the endless list of creepy calls that have no ID and voicemails that make a strange noise and have a voice saying hello and hanging up because the machine doesn't respond. What I don't get is what they hope to accomplish when more and more of us are refusing to answer them.
Yep, they got me too - - but thanks to 800 Notes I can look it up and confirm it is not a legit call and ignore these PESTS who, of course, would never leave a message They are now BLOCKED! Yippee!!!!
Folks, please pay attention: if you think that posting your complaints, and making requests to have your numbers removed from any list on this forum is going to work, you're sadly mistaken. These telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call List; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you call them names or hang up on them. They don't care if it's illegal. They just DON'T CARE.
They are relentless.
They will NEVER stop.
Best advice? Put your phone on silent, and never answer it. You are not required to answer that appliance. Let it ring, forget about it, and go on with your day. If someone wants to reach you that badly, they will leave a message.
8/23 10:19 PDT Tried to call again. This time, rolled to VM, but no message. Will be blocking, but keep reporting to inform others. I realize that they (telemarketers) ignore us, but we can do the same and let other folks know to do the same.
