I receive calls everyday from (714) 776-xxxx with many different ending 4 numbers. No one is ever there when I answer. Calls back say the number is not valid. I block the number and I continue to get called from a new one with change only to the last 4 numbers. This is so annoying these calls are everyday to my cell at all times of day and night. I don't know how they got my cell number. Can someone please make this stop?
If you haven't figured it out yet --- the 714-776-8xxx and 714-776-9xxx callers are apparently SPOOFING
the callerID string and randomly changing the number(s) displayed to make it "look like" local Anaheim caller.
The only confirmed call I read so far labeled it as the SOLAR Energy scammers.
The fake contractor / home-remodeling, and fake solar energy scammers are calling with spoof numbers daily.
The scammers spoof legitimate numbers (fake, spoofed callerID) and the poor guy that owns the real number is not the one that phoned you.
