Left a robotic type voicemail about owing money to IRS. I called back twice and didn't ring until 3rd time.
The person on line gave my name with wrong address. And couldn't explain why I owed other then "miscalculated information"
I received the same message as others here. Pre-recorded message stating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and an IRS agent is waiting for me to call back.
got 2 phone calls from this number. Picked up and they didn't say anything. I called them back and they told me they were from the irs. I told them to stop scamming me and to promise they'd never call again. I called them multiple times (because I was disconnected and hung up on).
Finally, a guy named Bill Doxen answered and when I told him to stop f***ing calling me because I knew he wasn't the IRS and I told him that I knew it was a scam, he started to get real defensive and started dropping the f bomb as well. I called back (cause he hung up on me) and another person picked up. Bill took over and asked that I stop calling them (ironic isn't it). I told him I want them to take my name off the list and he told me he couldn't and there were "a lot of reasons" why. I told him to give me 2. His 2 reasons were 1. He's not calling me. 2. He has no f***ing business with me. He also told me that someone above him was in charge of the list and he can't give me their phone number cause he doesn't know. I told him that if I get another phone call from them, I will call them relentlessly.
i, too, received the same message as others here. Pre-recorded message stating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and an IRS agent is waiting for me to call back. I would like to completely block the call completely but can only apply "Auto-Reject". I won't be returning their calls.........
