At least my call had some humor value. I picked up, said "hello", and some Mexican-sounding woman at the other end said "Where's my script? Where's my [***] script!?".
This is a sale / scam call for a company thats called "Home Center" they will robo call to see who picks up and either pick up the phone or call back with a solicitation. When I ask more details about the company they hung up.
i knew it was a spam call b/c she asked for my mother, who has never had this phone number. i told her she had the wrong number, then asked who was calling. she shouted, "IF THIS IS THE WRONG NUMBER, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE WHO'S CALLING?" then hung up. so... rude and hostile on top of wasting my time. awesome.
I hung up on this call on the second ring because it isn't a caller I know. I've started hanging up on these calls because I feel that if they get my answering machine then they know it is an active telephone number. Any thoughts on that from anybody???? Now they are BLOCKED forever. Thanks 800Notes contributors for the "heads up" on these pests!
