Received a call 2/18/14 but knowing who it was I did not answer. Best way to get rid of these idiots, just ask for their contractors license number. If it's real file a complaint with everyone you can think of, if it's bogus (99.999% likely) more than likely they'll hang up.
The callback number is spoofed. "We're sorry, you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service." Great. That's a $500 violation right there in addition to Do-Not-Call violations.
This is the second call. First one came while I was doing my tax return. Caller claimed to be calling for "KR Design" and that their truck was in my neighborhood and was I considering any home improvements or some such. I asked him if he was considering complying with the Federal Do Not Call List. He said "Yes" and hung up abruptly.
I just made an appointment with this "number spoofing illegal telemarketer". They waste my time and I will begin wasting theirs. I will video record and post to youtube the scumbags sales pitch.
