I received a call this morning from that number, 714-971-6001, and I didn't answer. They did NOT leave a message. I phoned the number back, and like others have said, it has a recording stating that it's a disconnected number. Likely scammers.
They phoned me at 7:15 AM, gave me a mashed up name and said that they were a medical compensation group. I hung up and phoned them back. The number was " disconnected". Beware. Scam in the making.
SCAMMERS! They call you so they can record you saying yes. They will ask you what your name is. Then they will repeat it so you can say yes. They record the yes and use it for credit card fraud. When the credit company asks "Did you make that purchase?" They use your voice to reply yes and good luck trying to get that money back.
They called me last week and today as well. I hardly understood what the guy said as he had a pretty strong accent. ( which isn't a problem as English is my second language too). They asked me whether i and/or my family are taking some kind of medication or do I have cancer. I hang up and blocked the number.
