I just got a series of texts from this number, said he was Ivan Niles, Hiring Manager at Helvetia Group. Wanted to interview me for a job in customer care, admin assistant, QA specialist, insurance, program manager. Got my resume from Crossroads Career Network, and wanted me to online interview via a Yahoo email address. None of the jobs are anywhere close to my skill set. Helvetia is a viable European company, but according to their website only has jobs in Europe. When I started texting back questions, he didn't have answers. I think he wanted to access my computer via the 'interview' to steal information.
I put an application in thru indeed.com. Then received a text from Ivan Niles saying he wants to do an interview online thru yahoo messenger. I did the interview and he said I got the job. I would be working for a company named SOCAR trading. Talked about working at home for a month and I would need to get software. That he would send a check and to deposit it then send the money to a software company. At first I started to believe it, then I went online and researched it!!! It's a scam!! I would be sending HIM that money and his check would bounce and I would be screwed!!! Don't fall for it!!! I also emailed SOCAR to inform them about this scam. Basically if it's too good to be true, then it is!!!!!
