I started answering the phone and if it's a live person I tell them I'm going to hunt them down and put a bullet between their eyes and then hang up while they're still stuttering. I've gone from getting 10-12 calls a week to 1-2 and no repeat numbers.
Caller ID says "Alarmcomp." Yeah, maybe it's AN alarm company. . . but it's not MY alarm company. This seems pretty darn misleading. Blocked the number. I really should call my alarm company and give them this phone number. See if they can dissuade them from poaching their business, right?
This website is SUCH A BLESSING....My sincere thanks.... I've been using it for approx 2 years to check incoming calls and have never answered the obvious scamming area codes (and yet, these unwanted calls keep coming...sigh.... Consumer reports is working on it, tho.
I've gotten FIVE criminal phone calls, this morning...what gives? The scumbags must be restless, lol.
This is a new one...and I didn't pick up. Now they're blocked! DO NOT answer these calls! It only tells their equipment that your number is a working one. Pick up and quickly hang up! Look at your Caller ID first! It's NOT worth giving these jerks any more good numbers to play with, They're NOT anyone you want or need to deal with!!! But I'm with another poster...my call blocker will soon be full with these creeps who keep trying. Blocking their numbers is easy - even if the number is phony. But my phone only allows so many blocked numbers. UGH!!!
