Claimed to be John from Ohio although caller id said canton Wisconsin. Claimed my computer was sending a signal and needed to be fixed. I realized immediately it was a scam and asked if he wanted my credit card number, SS# or bank info? I then accused him of being a scamming POS. He hung up. I called the number back immediately but message said that the number was disconnected. He had thick Indian /Middle East accent.
Phone rang and I picked up on third ring. I said hello and no response so hung up. I worry about these kind of calls to the elderly who are often frightened by them.
Just got this call a little before 8:00 a.m. Did not answer as I know no one in the area code 715. It went to answer phone and no message left. I checked this listing and immediately used my Pro-blocker to block the call if they call again. The Pro-Blocker was one of the best purchases I ever made!
