I received a call from Brandon Welch from PLCS & Associates, stating he was a senior advisor there. He asked for my husband, and even verified the last 4 digits of his social. He states their is a "pending legal matter" being processed under his name and social security number. He states he needs a call back immediately, and that he is "attempting" to hold off on signing off on it until he hears my husband's side of the story. Asked to have either my husband, or my husband's attorney call him back. His case document number is US - blah blah blah!! Bogus, bogus, bogus. My husband doesn't owe any payday loans, and his credit report is clean. I am so sick and tired of receiving these phone calls. Even after reporting them they just keep finding other phone numbers to contact you from. Can't anybody do anything about these clowns???
Received a call from "IPM and Associates" wanting me to contact them about a federal case and wanting a statement of intent in order to exonerate me. Caller mumbled through the consequences of what will happen when I don't call, then became perfectly clear as to how to contact them.
I got a call from them twice in the last few days....they scared the crap out of me saying that I would be dealing with a criminal charge if I didn't contact them immediately and paid money for some debt. I called my local public defender's office in San Francisco and the lawyer there said that what they were doing and saying was illegal and extortion. I am looking to file a formal complaint asap.
