Has to be a scam - Got a call from this number and it was spoofed on my caller ID as a local number. Fortunately, I can get their real numbers on Comcast voicemail.
Call at 10:55 Los Angeles time - they left a message saying they had a file on me that they would "escalate" if I didn't call back. I have the free Experian credit report that you get as an Automobile Club of So. Cal. member, so I know I'm not the victim of identity theft, and I don't have any outstanding loans, especially not "pay day loans" which this "collection agency" seems to specialize in.
They are a bunch of shady guys with a history of violating the laws of collection. Even if you think this is a legit call, be warned that PAY DAY LOANS (the company) does their collection in house, according to the web posting referenced above. These people will scare you and try to get you to send them a check.
Bottom line - if they can't give you the documented proof that you took out a loan and are delinquent, (which doesn't require a subpoena, by the way). tell them to @&*#% off.

Account Discovery Systems keeps calling me but call not for me. Called them to get my phone number off the calling list but they still keep calling. Mellissa was very rude & hung up on me. This is a collection company but seems shady. Not very professional at all. BECAREFUL.
