Was the usual scam offering to lower your credit card rates. All they want is for you to be stupid enough to tell them the credit card number for each of your cards! I always insist that first they give me their (the caller's) Social Security Number, state and ID number of their driver's license, and their personal phone number at which I can call them back after I verify the other information for which I am asking! Somehow they "don't understand" why I need that information from them, and tell me that it is their personal business. I keep them talking for as long as possible, to waste as much of their time as I can.
