I answered the phone and it was a solicitation for the police with New York City accent as Steven has said in the previous comment. I asked how "Joe" was and he did not respond but kept reading his script. I chided him for not responding to my asking how he was. After about 30 seconds of silence in which he refused to say how he was, he hung up. The only way, for me, that we can respond to these calls is to try and get the person away from the script. And, the DNC call list is worthless.
Was a call for donations to the NYS police out of NYC but using 716 area code, only 15% goes to this group. Not a very efficient origination, I did not make a donation
