Pretty sure they are located in the Cheektowaga New York area. Another run down small town in New York, Home of the kitchen-table debt scammers. Can't find the name of their company but I'm sure it's registered with the New York secretary of state, which is why they won't give the company name.
This is a collection agency that for me was dealing with a defaulted payday loan with QuickCash from a couple years ago. I totally forgot about it but apparently the company was about to press charges for fraud, so I was able to work out a deal with this agency to make payments. Not sure what the name of the company actually is, but I always talk to an "investigator" named Thomas Griffin. It's legitimate.. The only complaint I had is the voicemails left initially by the recorded machine are very cryptic, like "you've been named as a person of interest in case #12345". If you are getting a call I'd recommend answer or call them back and make sure you handled your bills.
These people are third party collections agency. They try and threaten you stating that you will be arrested and charges will be filed in your county and this is a time sensitive issued. I have being doing research and you can't be arrested for not paying back a payday loan, but you can have a civil suit filed, however you should received correspondence in the mail regarding any information. They can't give you any information regarding the loan, (the original amount of loan, the balance when defaulted or anything). I would not pay them one cent, because one of my friend had a Quick Cash loan she didn't pay and she paid it off last year and another collection agency called her saying she had a loan with Quick Cash and when she told them that she paid the loan off and had paperwork to prove. She only had one loan with Quick Cash and when she told them, they wanted to know the loan # and then proceed to tell her that the loan number is not the same loan number they had on file. These people are scammers. Do your research. File a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
I have received 2 calls from this number in regards to something. I have tried to contact them but all I get is a voicemail I have never received anything in the mail ever that I owe a loan. If they call back what should I ask for.
