I went online and was looking for a possible parday loan in late 2013. I never accepted any loan from them but they deposited $300 into my account. I finally had to close my account and I sent them a money order in the amount of $300 to pay them back. Here it is 9 Months later I am being contacted by an attorney named George Semansky of oracle financial, who is saying that they have no record of receiving my money and are filing charges against me for fraud that I wrote a check and closed the account. He said if I did not pay him that he will be filing fraud charges against me. The number is 716 242-5285

This may also help, look up your state and its laws here, they also give links of who to report things to:
No private attorney can file "charges" of anything. Public prosecutors file charges if any. If the public prosecutor was going to file charges you'd know about it from your local district attorney and the police, not some scammy debt collector.
Fraudulent or Zombie Debt Collectors—Things to Know
If you have received a call stating:
1. You have defrauded a financial institution
2. You owe an unpaid payday loan
3. You have a warrant due to an unpaid loan
5. You will receive a court summons
6. Authorities are coming to arrest you
7. Anything similar to above,
a. Do not give them any information or verify any information for them
b. Tell them you know they are a scam operating illegally and that you are filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities
* File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
* File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency). [abstracted from another site]
They continue to bother you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.
