i have the same call asking the same question, I try to call back but no one answer, it was a message saying (all circuit busy right now ) really don't know what is going on, help
I have received two calls from this number 716-242-7128 today on January 24th. He said his name is Officer Adam Scott and is calling from Tax crime investigation unit. He asked that i or my attorney should call him back. But if he didn't then he wished me GOOD LUCK. when i called back the first time he said i am the subject of IRS investigation. i asked for the documents by mail and he hung up. second time i called an Indian accent picked up the call and told me the they already mailed me the documents and i should receive them in 2 business days. third time i called them again because of my curiosity and the same Indian accent person told me that it is an automated message and my number will be removed...
not sure but it doesn't look like IRS to me.....
BTW i do not owe any tax to IRS.......
He said his name was Carl Cooper from the IRS he lives in Buffalo, New York..... He told my daughter that they was going to take her car, freeze her bank account.....if she didn't pay them $1930.00 dollars. This is a scam please try and get as much information as you can.

Same as above - I called back and he started cursing at me. I knew it was a scam and called from an unlisted number. Asked for his supervisor after he said he worked for the IRS and he called me a dumb idiot and started cursing.
