these people claim they are a law firm to collect a payday loan an they been harrassing me an i gave them my debit card info an they said they will take legal action if i dont pay i need to know if they are scammers

Michelle, don't give them ANYTHING via phone.  Even if this is your debt, you have rights and a phone call from some collection agency does not safeguard those rights.  Read here to determine if this is a legitimate agency with a valid claim against you, first.
