I have been receiving numerous spam calls every day, literally all day long, for a month. Received a call from 716-301-0149 number at 5:45 a.m.! Thankfully, I turn my ringer off before bed every night so I don't get woken up. The calls are from all over the country and growing (Maine, MA, PA, Ohio, Iowa, Indiana, NY, D.C., Florida). I even now get spam text messages!!! The spam texting started two weeks ago. I never answer any of them and I put them all (callers and texters) onto my Auto Reject List so that my phone won't ring, but ridiculously they can reach one's voicemail and not hang up or say anything throughout the entirety of the message. Rejecting a call should theoretically disconnect the caller, not allow them to reach your v/m. Something has to be done by someone to stop this growing, terrible and annoying problem.
This is a scam, It is very important to Phone the Police and contact the federal government at donotcall gov and report the call. It is Alliance Home Security calling from a spoofed number. They paid BIG fines just 2 years ago for doing exactly what they are doing now: unsolicited spam robocalls from spoofed numbers. Report them to the FTC: ftccomplaintassistant gov/#&panel1-1
