Thanks Elspeth. I kind of figured that they wouldn't call you and let you know that you're being served, but they're very good at scaring people. I should know better by now. I have already reported them to the FTC and the Attorney General. Should I report these calls to the local police as well? It's an out of state call, so I'm not sure if I can do that.
Got a new one from ADR Arbitration. They have called me over and over again over the last few months. Sometimes the recording is for me and sometimes for someone else. This time the message said that I need to be in my home or place of business tomorrow between 11 and 4 so that they could serve me with legal documents. These people had been calling from another number (716-335-9040). Apparently this is a brand new one because I can't find any info about it at all.
Scam. Real process servers do not call you - they just show up, papers in hand. Please do report them to the FTC and your state's Attorney General. You may also want to block the number(s) if your phone has a number block feature, or look at getting a call blocker.

www.naag.org - you can find your state AG here.

Ok, so I get calls EVERY DAY from this place / people. It started with a guy saying he had a "returned item" from my bank. I have not used a traditional bank account in several years! He would proceed to make it sound VARY urgent that I call him/them back and would give me a "case number" each voice mail had a different case number at the end. After 2 months of this i started getting the recording stating that it was "A 1 legal services carries" and that legal denouncements were set to be delivered to my home or place of business within 48 hours and i could only stop this by calling them and requesting an "intimidate stop action" on case number (again random numbers) and it's been 2 months of this message. Not sure if there is anything i can do to stop them?
