Called today. I did not recognize the area code. Canceled the call. They left no message. The number returns to a private residence. Obviously being spoofed.
call is for student loan forgiveness. I'm white, belong to no minority group, and pay my bills on time. The government won't help and I am tired of these damn calls. Every day.
We use do not call registry and we still get calls from these companies. They say they don't have to obey laws and even threaten us if we don't sign up. The government needs to do something.
I've been receiving at least 2 phone calls a day for the last couple of weeks, usually during my work day so I don't answer. They never leave a message I have no idea who this caller is or what they may be calling for -- I do not know anyone or do business with anyone in the 716 area code.
