Who called from 7163359947

Claimed his name was William Clarke from Prepaid Legal PG calling on behalf of someone named Phillip who referenced me.  This is a lie  I do not know anyone named Philip.  I believe it is a scam.

They are a PRG premier recovery group, they are a debt collection agency for payday loan places. I have been revieving calls from them for a debt I have with cashnet usa. They don't play by the rules at all!!!! They refuse to send me a debt validation letter and won't get me a mailing address so I can sent a certified letter requesting debt validation. I have the money to pay the debt and want to pay it, but i'm not giving out my bank info to just anyone that knows I owe cashnet money. as soon as I get validation i'll pay it. They are very rude,they make threats to take legal action which they can't do I could go on and on but i don't have the time. I suggest to anyone contacted by them to google they're other phone number 1-800-346-6516. There are alot of other people on this forum as well as others and there is some helpful intructions. hope this helps cause I hate these scum.

PS, if you notice any positive remarks about these people in those forums I suggested, it's actually one of there debt collectors acting like one of us.

a "mr. anthony" called me yesterday at work. I've heard of these stories before, i've actually gone through a collection company who thinks they can bully you around to pay them money by saying they're going to serve you papers at your place of employment/residence. I always give them the benefit of the doubt by listening to their whole schpeel, and automatically knew they were a scam. So far, i've filed complaints with the FTC, my AG, and plan on filing a complaint with the NY AG (i've done research on this company and they are in NY, address: PO Box 262, Buffalo, NY 14209 if you want to submit a complaint). Let's stop these bottom feeders!!

I received a call from this agency that was for someone else. I called to have my number removed and they began demanding if I knew the person or not. I told them yes I knew the person but did not have contact with them. They then demanded that I contact them and give them the message.And wanted me to write the information down. I explained to them I was driving and not able to write it, she told me "do you have an answering machine" I said yes mama and the information is there, When I asked who the company was and what this was in relationship to I was told a Pre litigation process,  And they abruptly hung up on me. When I called back I was told, They had nothing more to tell me. I attempted to explain all I wanted was to have the contact number removed from their records so I would not receive further calls. I again hung up on. I called again and  I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there were none available.  I said that was fine I would then just call the BBB and file a report. A woman (the same woman) came on then and said How may I help you? as if she were another person. I said who am I speaking with? She said Gibson "G-I-B-S-O-N, I attempted to explain to her that I wanted my contact number removed and that I was not responsible to give an messages to anyone for that company. I was again hung up on. I wish to know where and how to report this company for inappropriate action.

Asking for my father in law, whom I know has abused the payday, but we are no longer in communication with him.  Also I would think if your going to loan someone money that you actually might be smart enough to call the reference numbers they give you before you give them money BECAUSE we would tell you DON'T DO IT!!!!
