Oh, and then you thought, "Well I'm in big trouble now, but instead of taking any action on it I think I'll just Google that phone number even though I already know who it is!"
Sorry, punk. We know who you work for and why you came to this web forum. You aren't fooling anyone.
BILL BRIAN posing as a Debt Collector. Used public information to convince family member she owned money, threatened to garnish bank accounts if she did not pay.
This is a Vodaphone, probably a Burner. Number is a wireless # registered in Erie, NY with CELLCO PARTNERSHIP DBA VERIZON WIRELESS - NY
Thats funny. Because when he called me.. I never called the number he gave me and then he showed up to my work to serve me. Then when i finally called it was too late.. They said they couldnt help me anymore because i was already served.

You should never take calls from a debt collector except to tell them to send you debt validation IN WRITING (as required by law). Anyone who doesn't is breaking the law and probably a scammer.
The phone number may be a burner phone (the Buffalo, NY area is rife with debt collector scammers) but it could also be just a spoofed Caller ID. Not that it makes much difference.
I also got a call from Bill Byrant (other person said Brian). This is obviously a ploy said I had to contact within 24 hours with my work place information etc. LOL or I can stop an order and blah blah blah. Something about him being a private career license sheriff of my county when he is in another state LMAO and even gave me a fake docket number. If that docket number was real it would show on the county court website. Haahahaha.... Don't fall for this A-hole
