Maybe you should go to school to learn manners and how to conduct yourself in a rational reasonable manner. Your parents i'm certain didn't raise you to act weird on the phone with someone that calls for a very valid reason. People change there phone numbers like underwear these days. At first was nice and asked me if my name was -----. I told him he had the wrong number and then he asked me if I knew this person. I said no and I asked him who he was. Then he said the call was being recorded for a civil suit and became EXTREMELY RUDE and said the person was under investigation for writing bad checks. I told him it was not me and he started yelling at me. He kept on yelling at me and that he didn't have to talk to me like that. I hung up and he called right back again. I told him that I was not the person he was looking for and that this was a cell number and to stop calling it. He again told me that the call was being recorded for a civil suit and was still yelling at me. I told him he didn't need to be so rude, to not call my cell number again, and that I was going to report him and he hung up immediately.
I have never written a bad check to anyone, especially not in New York where I have never lived.
I reported him to the NY Civil Court system and I am going to report him to the FTC and my state Attorney's Office.

I got a call from the same guy and nothing bad was said or happened. I just Google the phone number.
Besides this is only a blogging web site. Each person has an opinion and the right to VENT on here. All of this is meaningless anyway. Seems from my above reading some people don't know how top act on the phone these days. Try being cooperative and nice. Oh and Pay your debts!! lol People borrow money with no intention of repayment. The people that come to this site are always encouraged to pay their debts. They're also instructed as to how to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a cubicle clown in Buffalo trying to scam money for a living. That bothers the hell out of you doesn't it?
It's simple people! Know your rights under the FDCPA & demand a notice of validation by mail. NOT e-mail or fax.! Clowns like this guy here will launch in to bluster & BS, thereby proving that they're nothing but bogus and/or desperate junk/zombie collectors.
Google the FDCPA everyone! Put the pitiful cockroaches in the call centers out of business.
