Received a call regarding a claim filed against my social security. I'm calling the Social Security office tomorrow. I'll have the phone numbers to this company handy. If this is a scam somehow I don't think the Feds will take kindly to their action.
It is also a lady who called my cell phone number claiming the same thing about my social security. Thank you for those who put a message on this site. This helps me know that I am not the only one receiving this kind of phone call.
I received a call from this number indicating a claim was filed against me and I needed to call 866-834-2214 to verify my social and place of employment. After researching I found both these numbers belong to: ACL Adjustment Associates Inc. a Collection Service out of Hasbruck Heights New Jersey. Hope this helps for anyone else receiving these annoying calls.
