I got a voicemail from Federal Law Enforcement Officer Jack Brown. I called back but spoke Spanish (his English is not good) he didn't understand, switched to English, did not give him a chance to speak, asked for badge #, address (fictional), asked what state I lived in, asked if he knew who he was talking to (didn't) - started calling me a "b...ch" and a "wh..re", eventually he hung up.
Same, called stating he was officer jack smith from federal law enforcement, to notify me they have received a legal lawsuit complaint on your name and your identity, the issue is time sensitive.... This is bull [***]. I called back and asked for his badge number and he responded "[***] you" ... I wish I could change the below code to SCAM!
I got called saying I owed the IRS $2200 and they wanted my payment in a target gift card....and if I didn't get it to them in 45 minutes I'd have a warrant out for my arrest, and have to spend 6 months in jail, complete [***]
Same as above, got a called, they know my name. i was told a lawsuit was going to be filed against me within an hour. Said he was an officer. Total Scam and BS.
"Officer" Jack Smith left a message on my voice mail which then got sent to my email as a .wav file. For a federal officer he sure had terrible grammar and pronunciation. The second time he called I answered and told him I already called the cops on his number and the feds on his name and I'm from a Chicago cop family so they're already tracing the call. Stupid. I hope people don't fall for idiot scams.
