I got a call from this number from O'Brian Wexler and Associates. She was garbled and said some case number. It sounded odd so I see now that others have had the same problem. Obviously a scam.
I received a somewhat garbled message from someone claiming to be a "senior something-or-other" at O'Brien, Wexler & Associates, but she was mumbling so it was difficult to understand her. Something about a case file number. Anyway, I figured it was a wrong number until I came here and found that others have been receiving similar calls. Obviously a phishing scam.

Received the same call from O'brian Wexler & Associates, told the woman first of all it was she was not to call my job then told her that I had just receive two check from a class action suite filed by the FTC against payday loans companies for charging more money for a fraudulent cost to the charges that they applied to people who had received loans from them. I also told her she had to send me all the paperwork to which she gave me an address I had not lived at for almost 8 years.
I got a call from "Evelyn" at O'Brien Wexlor & Associates. She left a message stating there was an urgent matter regarding my ssn and for me or my attorney to call back regarding case # 120018. She called my home phone and my cell phone. Its worrisome these scammers have both of my phone numbers....
