Person called my employer and said I gave them as a reference and that I was in the middle of a legal matter. I would never give anyone of my superiors' at work as a personal financial reference. My Facebook account was mysteriously hacked the same day. These people need to get REAL jobs!!!!!
Calling for collections of behalf of Bestbuy. DON"T BELIVE IT. i called best buys credit right away and they didn't have any missed payments by me. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!

Got a voice mail from this number about some guy whose file is being escalated due to lack of response and
asking person to call back to provide his statement. It does make it clear in the end, if you are not that person, you can disregard that message. Company mentioned is Account Discovery Systems.
Left message on my phone for an individual who does, and never has, lived here, telling me to have her, or her legal counsel, call him. By requesting a call from legal counsel, seems pretty obvious that it was a debt collector, and it is my understanding that debt collectors are prohibited from providing such information to 3rd party individuals.
I know the person, however, she has had the same phone number for over 20 years, and still does. So it seems pretty obvious this call was an attempt to harass/intimidate her through me. As such, I am reporting the call to the attorney general instead of her.
The caller gave his name as Nicholas Drasnik with Account Recovery.
