Caller demanded money - said it was the IRS. Left number to call. When call, they answer, "IRS." I told them they were being arrested for telephone fraud and hung up.
They Called Me And Said They Were The IRS and said I owe 3000 dollars they said my tax was a fraud and that I lied on my taxes and they s aid I could go to court but I might pay over 30000 dollars I argued with them
Received a vm from Nikki Johnson (IRS officer) stating I needed to call back before action is taken. Didn't sound right so I googled the number and saw others' posts. Called back and asked for the man's name and badge number to which he became irate stating HE was the IRS and I better give him my name. I informed him that the number was all over the internet as a scam to which he responded..."then why'd you call".
I received a pre-recorded message from 'Agent' Nikki Johnson. The recording identified her as an agent with the IRS and an 'urgent' message that I needed to call the number 716-575-7616 immediately before they 'take action' against me. I don't believe the IRS as most of us know it - the Internal Revenue Service - and clearly who this scammer would like the recipient to believe is calling - would communicate in this fashion. After reading the other posts about the calls, I'm perfectly comfortable ignoring this one.
