A very-heavily accented male stating that he was Officer Alex Marshall from the IRS, Buffalo center. Claimed that my 94 yr. old mother owed back taxes from 1975, '76 and '79 to the tune of $1700. He said that she needed a criminal lawyer because she ignored all of the notices that were sent to her. When I asked if they were sent as official mail there was silence, so I asked again and there was still silence so I told him he was a fraud and to never call me again. When I called the number back later, the same guy answered "IRS" so I did a reverse look-up of the phone number and it appears to come from North Tonawanda, NY but his phone carrier is Voxbone. Call is coming from India/Pakistan area and directly related to the on-going IRS phone scam.
