When I returned home this morning, there was a message on my answering machine that said that I had won 1 million dollars and a Mercedes from Publisher's Clearning House. When I call back the 716-616-9947 number they gave me, I was told to send $300 to Sandra Guinn, 812 Eckhart Ave., Auburn, IN so that they could deliver the car and money. Hope you can catch these scam perpetrators!
This Number was given to me when I called 876-529-0312 (a # in Kingston JM). Our fraud dept calls every JM # we see to make sure our customers aren't being scammed. When I called 876-529-0312 a man answered as "This is Mr. Todd Sloan with the Publisher's Clearing House, how may I help you?" I stated I got a message I won a prize. That was all it took. He stated "Congratulations, you are this months winner of $5 million dollars and a beautiful pearl white Mercedes Benz. All you have to do is call 7166169947 to claim your prize." 7166169947 wouldn't talk to me because I was calling from an 800 #. When they do talk to us they tell us to go get green dot cards with a random amount of money between $250-$1500, depending to pay taxes etc on the prize. Publisher's Clearing house doesn't ask for money up front, they show up at your house with balloons and a camera crew. Please don't fall for these scams, or send money.
I was told that I had won 1.5 million dollars and a mercedes benz. David Moore is the name he gave me and he told me to call at 716-616-9947 to claim my prize. This is the second call I get, the first one was about a week ago and my prize at that time was $300,000 and a car. They didn't even ask me for my name but I was told that I had won the prize. I was skeptical and researched on the web and sure glad that I did. I found that this is a scam and they have tried it on other people.
Got a call moments ago from a "John Anderson" claiming to be from "Publisher Clearing House" and said I had won $1.5 million in a sweepstakes and that I needed to call 716-616-9947 to claim my prize. I asked where I was calling and he said California.............well the number is from Williamsville, New York....so I already knew it was a scam. Also, the same number"8006" called my cell phone and then my house phone. The ONLY place that you can find both of my numbers is through my resume that is on an employment website.......so BE AWARE OF WHERE YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR INFORMATION ON THE WEB................. THESE CALLS ARE FAKE............
I just got a call from a man saying his name was John Anderson from telephone number (876) 388-2422. He said I won a million dollars from publishing clearing house. He told me to call 716.616.9947. It is a scam.
I had a message left on my voicemail from 7166169947. The message said that my wife had won a million dollars and a white mercedes benz. The guy sounded like he was reading a script. Definitely a scam.
