Dave Shantler calling. Some kinda bottom-feeding collector looking for information to find someone. Same voice that has called 3 times before using different phone numbers. Seems to be rotating numerous phone numbers to bypass call blocking software. Really wish more people would prosecute these scumbags so the bad ones would be put out of business. Need to put together a call sheet to question them back and file against them. On the sheet include Date, Time, Phone number at top. On the sheet put the following questions and ask them calmly (don't get aggressive if caller gets lippy just stay calm and focused): Callers name, company he works for, his supervisors name, return phone number you can call him back at, Company owners name, Address of Company, who/whom he is looking for, how he got your number, who gave him permission to call you concerning this person. If the caller tries to break your questioning calmly say "you are looking for private and confidential information and until I establish your validity and legitimacy I can not help you" continue your questions. if the caller balks or won't answer say "just what I thought you are not legitimate otherwise as a professional you would answer with nothing to hide", continue the questions. When finished do what you want, personally I would tell them "don't know anybody by that name, better luck fishing next time" Compile the results and file a complaint it could be big money in your pocket.

These people call and call and call....rarely leave messages and then it is robo call looking for someone who I have told them is no longer here. They rotate the numbers or called from PRIVATE NUMBERS. Why would a legitimate business call from a number without proper caller ID? Just proves they are scum.
A lady called asking for our collections department. Well we do not have one so I asked her what this was in rearguards to so I can get her to the appropriate person and she then again said "I need the collections department!" I then in turn said, "Yes, but in regards to what?" and she hung up. Unbelievable.
