It's really distressing how widespread these scams have become. The previous report on this number was from 2009. Now it's up and running again, on a new scam.
Interesting information. I got a call this morning, from "private investigator Lisa" (seriously, that's NOT how you ID yourself as a PI), claiming my name and SSN were on a warrant, call back immediately to resolve. Not the first time I have heard from a similar number; they get tired after a while, then start back up again. No clue what they want, but I'm sure somebody in Indonesia or the Phillipines wants MY money. Ain't happening!

They called me and Left me a voicemail saying "I'm a registered nurse with **** hospital. I'll call back."
No name just a quick voicemail and that was it. They've called twice now and said the same thing both times.
Received a call from Registered Nurse Audrey in regards to a recent visit to Pine Crest Rehabilitation Center. Why would someone from New York be calling about a visit in Florida.
