I got a call from someone who would not identify herself. Wanted employment verification on an employee. I knew it was a scam or something because they would not provide me with the information I wanted. Turns out it is Windham Professionals which is a collection agency "providing exceptional service and superior recoveries since 1982"
The company is Windfham Professionals, 300 Gleed Avenue, East Aurora, N Y 14052.
According to the information I have received and checked on they are a student loan consolidation company. Apparently they are either checking on a student loan you may have taken out in the past or they are requesting that you take out a student loan in order to continue your education. Either way I would not bother contacting them. If you happen to have caller ID then you can track them, if not I suggest that you spend a couple of dollars and have caller ID installed. It is the best thing going and damn glad I had it installed on my system.Caller ID is a one-time charge of $15.00 and well worth the expense.

I too have received serveral calls from this number and various other numbers all being Windham Professionals. I would not consider this company professional. They have called my place of employment as many as six (6) times in one day. Harassing co-workers and declining to provide any information about themselves. They have lied saying that I have called them and are returning my calls. Again refusing to leave information about themselves. They have been told not to call again. Doubt it will work.
Put it in writing. Once they receive your certified letter and you have proof they signed for it they must stop. If they continue to call, you can take them to small claims court and sue them for 1K per violation.
They have been calling my daughter asking for 1400 she paid 2100 and only owed 500 more. They said they had access to direct loans and there was never a payment made. I called direct loans the woman gave me the dates when we made the payments all the information was there.
I sent direct loans a check for the remaining amount and did not answer the calls from 716 655 1298 anymore
Scammers find out the real information call your loan provider or originator
Don't give these people money. The woman was very rude and I called her on it
