another in a series of calls I get with no one on the line when I answer.

In a very this accent, I believe the name they asked for was "Michael Hoffman"... or something like that.  Obviously I'm not a Michael.

Several calls today-the person that answered had an accent-could not get any information - called this evening at 9:00 am

They say they are from Credit One and they want to hassle you for a payment even if you are still in your grace period.

Apparently Credit One (credit card).  They call from India weeks before your payment is due and try to get you to make your payment early.  They are relentless.  I kept saying, "No.  I will make my payment on the 28th!"  The person kept trying and trying to get me to make a payment early (from INDIA?).  I finally had to hang up.  I don't understand why they keep doing that.  They apparently spend much more than my $25 payment by calling repeatedly.  They also show up on caller ID as IQOR.  Really pisses me off!
