Some one left me a message saying that he was an officer and that I should not ignore this call. If he did not hear back from me or my attorney then he wishes me luck.
Yep, I got the same message left on my voice mail. Said the same stuff. You'd think these people could find something better to do with their time, like playing on train tracks or the freeway. Sheesh.
This guy called me and left me a threatening message. I could barely understand his English and he was very rude, stating he was from the IRS and that I was accused of fraud. Turned out he was looking for someone else and he backed down, but of course didn't apologize. I told him it might help next time if he made sure he was calling the right person before leaving a threatening message and then having an attitude.

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
