Left a message saying I was about to be arrested for 5 criminal charges! Lol! Said if I didn't call back, all they could do is wish me luck. Sheesh. Call is from New York -- I live in Utah.
Got a call, said I signed up to win a trip between September and December 2013 at a department store. I can honestly say that I did no such thing which I informed the caller of. In either case he continued to tell me the great things I had won, I then hung up.
He first call came on number 7168036631, he started to make his pitch and then hung up. A second call came from 0000000000 (same guy) which is when he made his full pitch.
just got a call from this number and a man with thick accent said I needed to give credit card info or police were coming to arrest me on an outstanding warrant. I told him to go right ahead, I'll be waiting to surrender to the authorities and deal with this in a court but I know for a fact I have no outstanding warrants and besides, who the hell calls on a Saturday night at 10:00PM to threaten police action on an outstanding warrant??? Then he got angry and asked if I thought this was a joke. I said "no, I think this is an obvious scam". He then hung up... Who the hell are these people, leave me alone on a Saturday night for god's sake... jeez!!!
