Received a voice-mail from this number saying I was being charged with fraud, had my dl# and the last four of my ss#. Yet I have never been to new York. Or had anything to do with anything from that area
Threatening scammers. Claim to be attorneys who happened to hear that I was being charged for fraud (under the wrong name) and would shortly be arrested. They "just want to help out." Same number called two of my friends, my former employer, my parents, and my spouse so they seem to have a bunch of information. Have had various other threats from other numbers, mostly in New York.
Too bad for them, I'm not being investigated for fraud and they aren't currently arresting me as they claim. They have called up to 20 times in one day with progressively more threatening messages. Reported them to the FBI again.
Received threatening phone call claiming I was under investigation for check fraud.. to call immediately as this is court mandated. Never wrote a check that I didn't pay.
Thanks for posting, I received a simular voicemail from the same number and posted it below..Now we know that calls from area code number 716 is a scam.

Received back to back calls throughout the day and a voice message from Alan Maloney. I called back and asked him, how can I help him. He wanted me to verify some information and I refused, so he said he couldn't help me. I told him to stop calling me. He called back and just held the phone.
