"Ray Burke" called with an important matter - no real details. Cited a "claim number" and said it was not a solicitation call. Also used a name that is not mine. Scam scam scam.
they call and make false claims regarding your identity and social security number. stating they have legal documents involving you.
it is a account recovery service. in my case they where trying to reach someone else i do not know. They use this tactic to increase their chances of receiving a return phone call from you.
I have been harrassed my this supposed "agency" called ARS. They state they have a "civil claim" against me, yet wont release the true matter for their call, they only state that there is "claim" against me regarding debt. I am upset that now, they are contacting not only my immediate family, but my extended family as well.
Have been receiving repeated harassing calls from this company. 'John' informed me this morning that they're filing a civil suit in my home county (in Texas); however, refused to disclose any real details.
I received a call from this phone number for the past two months. This is a private cell phone number that I have had for years and a John Carter keeps leaving a message for someone else that I don't even know and he will not stop calling. Says he is from ARS with a claim number. Apparently he doesn't understand what it means when I tell him he has the wrong number.
I have received several calls from this agency. They have my address but none of the other information is correct. John Carter was the most recent caller and he stated my attorney was welcome to contact him. This agency ARS needs to be investigated as it is harassing people and their relatives with incorrect accusations. Do not give them any information as it is a scam.
