Received message saying it was from IRS

They called to say the IRS was looking for me and pursuing a law suit

Received a call with a voicemail stating it was a call from the IRS and that I was being sued for tax fraud. Then demanded a payment to settle out of court, or 'arrest within 1 hour to be taken to the courthouse to testify'. I asked for proof that it was really the IRS, was given a bogus phone number, and told to call back within 45 minutes or else 'officers would be sent to my house'. Scam much?

I got a voicemail that sounded like a girl robot voice saying that the IRS was filling a lawsuit against me. It came up as a New York number.

Just received 3 calls and 2 automated messages about the IRS was going to sue me if I didn't return the call immediately!  Did not call found this site instead.  Call was from Barker, New York
