Just had the same thing today. Yesterday it was from a different number, but the same message. They told me to call back at 253-617-7364 to stop the lawsuit. The line the called on is a business line, and neither the company nor I have any IRS issues at this time. I did not know that the IRS only contacts via mail, so thanks for that tip. I suppose that gives them written evidence that they actually tried to contact you, so it makes sense.
This # just called my office. I kept saying hello and the male on the other end was saying hello but as if he was playing a game. I could hear alot of people in the back ground like a call center. I grew sick of saying hello. I said loudly what do you want and he hung up. I called the # back and it said the # I dialed is not in service.
This number just called our house. There was a lot of chatter in the background, and the male caller would not let me talk until I told he had to listen to me. He was trying to get information about my computer. Said he was calling from the Windows centre and my computer was at great risk. Told him I was going to report this call and phone number. He hung up quickly.
Same as Holly D. # 716-886-9358: Guy on the other line had a heavy middle eastern accent and sounded like he was 12 years old telling me some [***] about calling from windows center. that is about the time i cut him off and told him to stop calling me.
I had a call from the same noisy call centre. The man was probably East Indian and tried to tell me that he provides me with Windows support and service. Before he could say anything more, I told him that he provides me with nothing, that's it a scam and never to call my number again and disconnected the call before he could say anything else!
