Wow, this was unbelievable! Since I live in the same area code I thought this was someone I knew--I was expecting a call. This call came in on my work cell phone. After saying, "Hello," there was that annoying pause, and I had my doubts. Then, a woman came on and said, "I'm sorry, I had to adjust my headset." She then went into her spiel about how I won a trip to a resort, since I stayed at one of their resorts before. I haven't had a real vacation in over 10 years! There is no way this can be true.

She asks that I answer a few questions before transferring to an associate. I say, "Mam, this is a business and I request that you remove my number from your list." This is where I find that it was a fancy recording. She repeats her request for answers to questions, but a little different. I hung up and added the number to the growing block caller list.

It's a good thing I'm not a maniacal evil genius, or I would have a laser in space that hunts these people down and zaps their @$$!
