Caller states his name is James Cassidy and he is calling regarding an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury, intending a serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. I wisely advise you to get in touch with us and help us help you.
Same as above. I could not understand the name, it was cut off in the voicemail he left. He stated he was with the U.S. Treasury he is calling regarding and enforcement action executed by the US Treasury. I reported to the US Treasury website and IRS as phish scam. I also blocked the number
"James Caspin" left a vmail saying he was from the US Treasury and to call him about some bogus litigation and to "help us help you," the same crap he left for all the others.
Received the same call that others have described from 'James Casten from US Treasury Dept'. Reported to the US Treasury using the link provided by another poster.
I got this clown's voice mail message about me owing money to the U.S. Treasury. I phoned him back - got some woman. She eventually told me how I owe $10k and failure to pay could lead to substantial fines and/or jail time. I told her how much I wanted to pay up for all the debt I owe! She said "great, all we need is a credit card number or bank account routing information. I told her "no, I want to make sure this gets done and I insist on wiring the money to your account right away - so please give me YOUR bank routing details." Silence. I said "hello?" She said, sir, we are not set up to accept payment in that fashion. I told her that I know she's working hard and is extremely busy collecting debts, but to make sure she sets aside 15 minutes at the end of her busy day to f****k herself.
